Young Entrepreneurship increases awareness about plastic issues among middle school students through the project "Less Plastic Student Enterprise." The students learn about the circular plastics economy and develop their own solutions to reduce plastic and plastic bag usage, in cooperation with teachers, businesses, and environmental organizations. The project is part of Young Entrepreneurship's broader initiative to create future value creators by providing children and youths with practical entrepreneurship experience.

Proud Partner

The Norwegian Retailers' Environment Fund is a proud partner of Young Entrepreneurship and believes that the engagement among young people is crucial in the fight against plastic litter.

– The older generation has created several environmental challenges related to plastic that the young must live with. The young view this with a completely different perspective and give us exactly what we are looking for; a different approach and new, innovative solutions, says Cecilie Lind, CEO of the Norwegian Retailers' Environment Fund.

Lind emphasizes that the youth perspective is absolutely necessary to solve the challenges society faces and that initiatives like this provide both knowledge, space for action, and hope for the future.
